Currently, I Am… | #4

It’s time for another “Currently, I Am…” catch-up. It feels like I’ve done lots, yet barely anything at all.

Currently, I am watching

…a very, very sad episode of Glee. *spoilers* It was the tribute to Cory Monteith, and it feels like my little heart has just been ripped out.

Glee Quarterback Cory Monteith Tribute Rachel Berry

It just finished. I think we’ll have to take a small break from Glee for a while now because going straight back to happiness and singing could be a bit tough! Instead, we’re going to stick with angels, demons, monsters and brotherly love in Supernatural. We finished season 6 the other night, and will be starting season 7 tonight. I bloody love Supernatural.

Currently, I am reading

…Absolutely nothing. Technically, I’m in the middle of The Girl With All the Gifts (still) but I haven’t touched it in weeks.
I also recently bought ‘Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children’ as the film is coming out soon, and I’d love to read it before watching the movie. It sounds incredible.

Currently, I am feeling

…a little sad, from the tribute Glee episode but I’m sure it’ll go away soon. Okay, I’m being a bit of a trooper. It was really sad.

I’m really glad it’s the weekend, because I’ve got lots of relaxing to do and lots of craftsย  planned this weekend. On Sunday, me and Matt have also planned to go on a nice walk in the park before going to see my family. So, that should be nice.

East Park, Hull. We’ll be popping here for a walk on Sunday.

Recently, I’ve also been quite happy with my activity on social media. I’ve been sharing my blog posts frequently on Twitter and Google+, and I’ve seen a noticeable increase in blog traffic. I have even met a lot of lovely fellow bloggers on Twitter too!

Currently, I am excited for

…spring, definitely. I’m hugely looking forward to the warmer weather. Spring is also going to bring a lot of fun crafts! I’ve got so many plans and ideas, and all of them will be shared on my blog.

On a completely unrelated topic, I’m just as excited for all the incredible TV and film that’s heading our way really soon! Notably, Captain America: Civil War, Daredevil, Game of Thrones and Batman vs. Superman. So much awesomeness. It’s going to be a great few months.

If you haven’t already, I highly recommend you watch it! I genuinely squawked at the last few seconds!

  1. That movie looks awesome! I say I’d like one more snow storm before winter moves out. But if I look deep enough inside, I’m know I’m ready for spring too. I’m excited for “March Break” – no school next week!

  2. No plans for this weekend…yet, and when they do come about, it will most likely involve grocery shopping and what the little one needs…and what my oldest wants to do involving Minecraft. ๐Ÿ˜›

Never having been a Glee fan myself, I still knew about the death of its star, and it always hurts me to know the world has (once again) lost someone so young. (Sorry, Morgan, restrain the tears!)

Honestly, I’m not super excited about any forthcoming films…not yet, anyway. That’s not like me, so I’m sure something will come along to strike my fancy. ๐Ÿ™‚

Season 7 of Supernatural is probably the hardest for me, and I rarely, if ever, re-watch it. (Because of the loss of Bobby – sob!). Seasons 8 and 9 were my favorites. I just LOVE the whole Men of Letters arc, when they found the bunker, Charlie came back, there was tons of Castiel and Crowley, Abbadon, Cain… ๐Ÿ˜€

    • I hope you have a good weekend, whatever you do.
It was so sad. I felt like I was going to explode ๐Ÿ˜ฆ I knew it was coming but it just was so hard to watch. They didn’t even cover his cause of death. It was simply a tribute. So sad.
I’d completely forgot that Bobby dies in this series, noooo! Poor Bobby :(.
I completely agree though. I absolutely love the Cain storyline and Charlie is one of my fave female characters ever. Felicia Day โค

      • I openly admit I kept hoping against hope Bobby wouldn’t actually die after he was in the hospital/running from the Reaper. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ
I like that they (the writers/directors) didn’t make Charlie an obvious love interest/bad girl for one of the brothers to fall for (think Jo or Ruby from early on), but rather that Charlie had this little sister element going on. She didn’t depend on the brothers for her reactions to things, either (in terms of writing); her character was very much herself, and she was that regardless of what happened in that episode. Strong female characters have been so few and far between (in recurring roles) on this show, so the redheads have been a definite win!
I CANNOT BELIEVE they killed both Charlie and ROWENA off!!! ๐Ÿ˜ฆ Season 11 has overall been a huge disappointment for me. Bleck to the Darkness storyline! That wasn’t what I expected at all…
        Okay, ending ranting. ๐Ÿ™‚
