Saturday’s Super Six | Derelict Building Photography

There’s a very run-down building in my home city, covered in cracked, bright turquoise paint, jagged metal panes and an irresistible charm.

In college, during a project focusing on texture, I found this building and fell in love. Sadly, the area is currently undergoing renovation and I’m unsure about its future. I’m hoping to hurry back there and take a shoot of updated photographs on my updated camera, considering there is a high chance this beautifully raw building is soon to be demolished.

For today’s “super six”, I thought I’d share six fairly old photographs of this building, that are – still do this day – a selection of my favourites.

It’s such a beautiful building! I love it. With these photographs being around 4 years old, I’m super curious to see how well I’d be able to replicate them now.
