After 5 months on WordPress, it’s safe to say I’m a happy blogger through and through. I’m constantly brainstorming post ideas with almost 100 ideas saved for future use. I’ve began saying “oh, definitely, because then I can feature/review/write about it on my blog” often. Simply put, my blog rekindled my love for writing, reading and has become a much loved hobby.
So, overall, what did my little baby blog accomplish between August and December?
Total number of posts: 138.
Total number of followers: 305. Thank you, every single one of you, for helping me reach my target of 300 followers before the end of the year. It’s just wonderful <3.
Total number of book reviews: 4. I aimed for one book review a month, which I’m currently on track to complete. After finishing The Girl With All The Gifts by M. R. Carey, I’m hoping to review the book on my blog which will make my final total reviews 5 by the end of the year! Yey.
Total number of beauty reviews: 7. I’ll never tire of beautiful Lush bath bomb reviews.
These statistics are correct as of today, December 27th, as they are bound to change over the final week of 2015.
Statistically, my best posts of 2015 are:
- DIY Bookmark Monsters
- The Experimenter Lush Bath Bomb Review
- “Art Therapy”… Not Really
- “Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials” Review
- “Be Thankful” Challenge
- 7 Reasons I Love Getting Older
- 7 Reason I Hate Getting Older

Blogging Goals For 2016:
Set a blogging schedule: I’m desperate for a blog routine, with a specific amount of time set aside for reading and commenting on other posts. I need structure!
Weekly features: My “Word Play” feature was very well received. With it only being a short feature, it allowed me to put more time and effort into creating the limited content! I think this was the main reason they attracted so much attention, and I’m thinking of a few more set length blog features throughout 2016.
500 followers: By the end of 2016, I’d absolutely love to reach 500 lovely followers. If I could reach a milestone of 300, in 5 months, then I’d love to dream what I could achieve in 12.
