Good evening my lovelies and a happy December 1st to you!
So far, this year has absolutely flown by. It’s been a brilliant year, and I’ll be sad to see it go, but roll on 2016! You know when you just have a feeling it’s going to be the best, hardest, most interesting year of your life? No? Well, I do, and I can’t wait!
Anyway, back to the point: I’ve been nominated by Simon for the “3 Day Quote Challenge”. Yey! Thank you very much. I hope you enjoy reading quotes as much as I love sharing them.
I completed this challenge for the first time in September, so if you’re interested in reading my other quote posts, yon can find them here:
Those are my 3 all-time favourite quotes. Of all time. Ever. In the universe. Is is strange to have favourite quotes? Nah.
My first quote for this challenge is by Amy Poehler, on self-confidence.
“Ignore what other people think. Most people aren’t even paying attention to you.” – Amy Poehler
This is hugely important. You can’t be truly happy when you’re self-conscious or paranoid of what people think of you. However, this is not a rule I generally tend to live by. I care way too much about what people think about me – my skills, the way I act, what I wear, how I talk, how I look… It’s definitely something I’m going to try and work on.
Thanks again for the nomination, Simon. I’ll post my nominations on my final day of the challenge. 🙂
Before I go, I’ve seen a lot of “Blogmas” hype today – I’m not sure what it is, but it seems to be something to do with blogging every day throughout the period of December. Because I blog everyday anyway, I guess I’m a participant! Yey!
