The Intergalactic bath bomb is a favourite of mine that I keep going back to again and again. As shallow as it may be, my little nerdy self first bought this bomb solely because of its name. More importantly, I stayed for it’s beautiful, deep galaxy colours, the long lasting scent and how fun and active it is when it fizzes in the water. It fills the bath with popping candy, too. Bonus!
It’s definitely not as colourful as the Experimenter, and nowhere near as stunning as Frozen (still one of my all time favourite Lush products), but it’s completely perfect in its own right. When dropped, the notable feature has to be the fizz. It’s a lot more dramatic and entertaining than most bath bombs. I can only guess that was a purposeful feature to tie in with it’s name… hint, intergalactic space travel.
It’s primarily a blue drop and a blue result, but the colours are very dark – the flash of my camera lightened the result slightly. The deep blues are filled with glitter (like stars), and before the final colour settles there are hints of vortex purples, pinks and yellows. It makes me feel sciencey and girly all at once!
Have a look at the beautiful, glittery result below:
Very cool and very pretty! It’s the best of both worlds!
